A Big Change Since 1933

From Edna Mae:

"During the sesquencentennial my husband, Park E. Gregory and I discovered that the building we had both attended as students was no longer standing in Hudson.  I am of course referring to Hudson High School on Washington Street.

Park grew up in the shadow of that large building on the hill.  He attended school there from K through high school, graduating in 1935.  His sister Ruth Ann Gregory Donelson also followed him through that school.   My parents, Gerald G. Bradley Sr. and Chloe R. Anspach Bradley were both graduates from that building- one in 1916, the other in 1917 when it was still a very new building.  I graduated from there in 1936 and my brother Gerald G. Bradley Jr. in 1938.  To all of us it seems like we have lost a large part of something very special.  It will always seem strange to see that now vacant spot where once the bells rang calling us into learn as much from each other as from our teachers.  Yes, Rus  Coman, things will change again by 2033, and yet many things will be much the same we suppose."
